The Opportunity: This is a great opportunity for a Finance Manager who specialises in the retail finance space to join a face paced and agile environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of financial and accounting services across the retail division.

The Role: Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this Finance Manager will be delivering financial and accounting services within the retail division. Partnering with Centre Managers, Investment and Leasing Managers as well as Development and Performance Analysts to deliver actuals, forecasts and budgets that provide insights into the retail business. Key areas of focus for this Finance Manager will be around:

  • Contributing to accounting practices across the retail division including, accounting transactions, arrears management, month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, development accounting and reporting on results.
  • Business partnering with key business units by converting property and accounting data into meaningful information that will assist in making quality decisions across the business.
  • Advising and collaborating with various business units to help deliver projects and efficiencies.
  • Assisting finance and retail leaders with ad-hoc reports and tasks.

The Potential: You will ideally have 5 – 8 years experience in a financial/management accounting role with a specialised focus on retail property finance, working for a landlord or fund manager. You will hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance, are CA/CPA qualified and have the ability to successfully manage a broad range of customers, including centre operational teams. You will be an SME within the retail finance space and be experienced in JD Edwards and TM1. Most importantly you are agile and have the ability to adapt yourself and your skill set into any situation.
