The role
To contribute to the stability, profitability and growth of Interactive Cloud and Managed Services Group by leading the Platform Specialist function ensuring that operational platforms remain current (software and firmware), leveraging automation techniques (systems) to deliver highly efficient and stable systems, and to provide technical design input and delivery of new CMS Products and Services that will make our Customers’ businesses better.

You will need to be proficient in the following in order to be successful:

  • A broad technical skillset including Cloud Technologies, Virtualisation, MS Office 365, Storage, Networking. 
  • Ability to lead highly skilled technical specialists;
  • Ability to set tactical strategies and drive change across technology platforms;
  • Ability to lead technical teams, including coaching, performance management, team building, team motivation and team dynamics;
  • Engages with Architects, Technical Managers and peers to drive client and business outcomes;
  • Ability to engage and guide Customer outcomes and problem resolution.
  • Maintain full operational knowledge of the platform operations program monitoring the effectiveness of all procedures and systems to ensure both internal and external customers outcomes are achieved;
  • Experience in project management practices.
  • Innovative thinking and analysis to influence developments within areas of responsibility;
  • Ability to prioritise;
  • Accountable for work organisation, the allocation of resources within and the outputs required of the work area;
  • Generate improvement process and productivity initiatives.
